What I really like

Some things on my mind...

I love candy corns,

black feather boas,

a little of the macabre

and thoughtfully placed fake spider webs
(this picture DOES NOT represent a good job)

I've been Boo-ed?

Tanja BOO-ED me!
How can this be? A lack of posting? No commentos to my besties in blog land?
(Actually, I am quite flattered.)
So here is how the Blogging Boo will go.
Go to as many friends as you want and tell them they've been "B00-ed". Have them link back to your blog to pick up their Halloween Treat (picture) and tell them to Boo their friends.
(Then put the pic in your side bar so everyone knows that you've already been "boo-ed and to send the pic to someone else.)
So be watching your comments to see if you get BOO-ED!

My Black Magic

Thank you, Dollar Store.

Red Roses, Red Tulips, Some Fall Foliage, White Lilies and small twisted accent twigs ~ All spray painted black.
That's how I made My Black Magic.
Before I painted, Joel thought it should be hanging above a geriatric mantle.
I borrowed the Trick or Treat sign from SIS.
Still need to find an appropriate ribbon, but I think Martha might be calling with an offer soon.

I'm making Black Magic

I love Halloween.

This year I am going with a Black Magic Theme for my decor.

My BFF Martha, had an idea of taking any old flower wreath
and by simply spray painting it black, I can turn it into a spooky arrangement.
This can also be done to old ivy you have lying around.
I am so excited to start decorating.

Vintage Halloween ATC Swap

Anyone feel like being creative? Wanna join a swap?

I've never done this before, but I thought I'd give it a whirl.
Here's the lowdown from Two Crafty Mules:
Halloween is such a fun time of year and I thought it would be a great time to host our first blog swap with a vintage Halloween theme. This swap is a 3 for 3 ATC (Altered Trading Card) swap. What is an ATC, you ask? An ATC is a miniature work of art (the size of a playing card) which people swap with one another. The size of the ATC is always 2 1/2" by 3 1/2". It can be decorated in any form or fashion, including painting, decoupage, collage and the like. If you have not made an ATC yet, I warn you - it's really addicting. Thankfully, they are inexpensive to make, so you can craft your heart out and not break the bank.
