Really, this makes no sense.

Why is that I can move the bunkbeds to make; move the couch to rearrange; run behind a 4 year old to two wheel train; toss a bag of grain... and not flinch.

But I begin to organize my Saying It Simply supplies and the shoebox filled with ribbons makes my back sieze. I cannot walk. I cannot breathe. (sp?- I hate spelling incorrectly) Sitting from standing is agony. Standing from sitting is nearly impossible.

Really, this makes no sense.

Damn. Reality Bites cuz it's probably due to the "girls".

While in NY we stopped by Magnolia, a Manhattan Cupcakery, where the wait could be hours for your first taste, it's so popular. But guess what! Amber's Cutsie Cakes put Magnolia to shame!!!! She is an expert at this confectionery treat!
This weeks Flavors are
Nilla Vanilla
Hungry Rabbit
Cocoa Diva
Lemony-licious
Happy Daisy
and My personal indulgence
Chocolate Peanut Butter
Good Grief they are good!!! We are, to put it simply, happy to be falling into fall with Cutsie Cakes! *Guess who made the curtains for the windows... yep, little ol' me. And I did the vinyl, too!
I have tons of new items to post for Saying It Simply. But I wanted to get the word out that we are now in a shop. Still doing custom orders for your hard to find items~ just needed to take a small hiatus to gather our gumption for new goodies.
We love the fall and it's endless supply of inspiring colors and themes. You will not be disappointed!

This REALLLY excites me

Oh my. I can hardly wait.

Tim Burton is making a sequel to Alice in Wonderland... release in March of 2010~where she returns to Wonderland at age 17 and does not remember her first visit. His movies always have the fantastical ideas that I often find swimming around in my own head. A touch of the twisted macabre excites me with his films.

I dove into the depths of pirating w/ the 3rd Pirates of the Carribean last nite. This is where I officially decided that Johnny Depp as Jack Sparrow is my ALL time favorite movie character.

And then I saw this:

Fantastic. Simply Mad.
Mr. Depp is fascinating.

Really happening

We just had our papers for the trip notarized.
So many things were signed away....
like:

Pics taken of us on the "WALK"
What does THAT mean?

Oh my hell. I need to run more.

This is REALLY, Really happening.
I feel like I need to study for this prize. Don't want to look foolish...
Honesty bit:
Does anyone want to do a trade of some sorts? I really need my hair done for this. I leave on July 6th! Help!!! $$$ is tight and I don't want to look dumb!
I can make you a
re*it*er*ate bag
or
ANYTHING SIS does.

But really, I won

I won.
I'm the big wiener.
I have the luck of the Irish on my side.
(I try to keep an Irish descendant next to me at all times)
I'm off to hang with Christian Siriano
to intern with him for a day in NEW YORK
....on the FIRST trip.

Then, I return to NEW YORK, (I think in Sept) to see his fashion show.
... for the SECOND trip.
Two trips. Me!!!!!!!!!!!
Details could change... waiting for official docs.

*disclaimer: they need to verify my eligibility. ie: over 18, US Citizen.
Got to sign the docs, still.
But really, I won.
My mood board was chosen.
I am shocked!!!!!!!!!
xx to all of you who voted and campaigned!
Seriously, thank you!

Holy Crap!

Reality In Waiting

Just found out that the LG Lotus contest I'm in will notify the winner by 6/22... wishing and hoping, thinking and praying.

Wil has had ONE day off (anny Thursday)since we went to PHX at the beginning of May... would love to have him as an active part of our family again.

Our "ship" should be docking any day now. It's so damn hard waiting for your ship to come in. However, seeing that I live in the desert, I shouldn't be surprised that there aren't any ports to welcome a ship home.

Saying It Simply's re*it*er*ate bags are on the cusp of being a HOT item. Feedback is fab on them, just want the sales to reflect it. Just trying to do my part.

If the damn rain would stop, I could put up our pool. Wait. If I put up the pool while it's raining, I could fill it with the blessings from Mother Nature..

15 years. For Reals.

Well, I did it.

Wil and I have been married for 15 years today. Asked him if people at work were surprised he's been married for 15 years.

Wil said, "No. But it's because they don't really know you." This was funny, folks. OK to laugh... I laughed and laughed and laughed... I think he laughed a little louder, but there is some truth to his statement. :)

He just brought me breakfast at the computer.
A hug and a kiss~ he's out the door; off to work.

Our evening celebration is planned:
Kate's dance recital. (She's getting chocolates and flowers this year)
But I'm not upset about this... at least he's home for this one! If you'd like to see where Wil has spent other anniversaries, follow his celebratory travels here

Look what we've accomplished in 15 years:
*Jack, Luke, Kate

*multiple piercings
*ring tattoos (my 3rd anni gift to him)
*a home in Surprise, AZ... that's just too fun to say
*a year in MN
*4 fights
*4 cats... just to make me happy
*my biz
*he's a wanted man in the world of computer scanning and 3d graphics
*teaching me to use power tools
*lived w/ his parents for 1 year and 4 months. (thanks M&D-tooooooooooo kind)
*a home in PG, UT
*Many relocations
*and some giggles
I think that says a lot lot lot lot lot.

And just so you know Where there's a Wil, there's a way because he:
has a great personality and a super sense of humor~ personal joke here... too many times these attributes are used to cover up the looks department, but he's got that covered too.
He's FUNNY, thoughtful, kind, handsome, loving, strong, caring, dedicated, dependable, hard working, successful, brilliant, ... thanks! thanks! thanks mr. manly. i am sooooo crushing on you, right now. i think I'll be washing your laundry today AND MAYBE ironing.
Even though it's sad when I find us acting like grown ups, at least we're doing it together.

We're planting a tree to commemorate this accomplishment. Want to see which grows faster, Me and Wil or the tree. xx, kris

Now,go kiss someone to celebrate with me. I love kissing.
