Jack whacked his head on a car door yesterday.
It stopped bleeding quickly, but the split was wide and deep.
2 staples later, his grey matter will remain in his noggin.
(um, can I tell you that it sounded just like the stapler you use at home?!?!? ick.)
Staples will be removed in 10 days... just shy of being gruesome for Halloween.
Realistically speaking, I think the bonk was beneficial for me.
I spotted Jack, emptying out the garbage and replacing the liner WITHOUT being asked
AND
He emptied the dishwasher, following up this amazing feat with washing and reloading the dingy dishes what were resting in the sink.
I am shell shocked.
(However, I think he's trying to earn some extra cash- little does he know, I'm only handing out extra heart stickers in my 'LOVE YOU Book'.)
I might have to open the car door into the rest of my family. The basement might get finished.

Ewww. That gives me the goose bumps and I don't even want to think about when they take those bad boys out.

Oh my heck, how did I miss that last night? Poor guy! I need to bring him a treat. I remember Rylee having staples and it really was just a staple gun.. I still get shivers from it.
I LOVED seeing you last night. I wish that I could have chatted more, but something is always happening :)
Becca had six staples in her head at 6 months old. The head bleeds eh?
so sad i couldnt make it on sat. forgot i had a hair appt and stantons work party. please forgive. i will make it up there some day..promise!!
