Really. My reality bites today.
Waking early with hope that if I check blogs and email in the a.m. I will free my day for my real job... domestic diva. But when I decide to quit blurking (or any of these terms I enjoy) the mountain of household tasks overwhelm me and I keep sitting, keep clicking, keep typing, keep reading to avoid my job.
JOB? When do I receive a paycheck? Has anyone figured out a salary base for this profession? While writing my to-freakin'-do list, I begin feeling like polygamy might be worth looking in to... having everyone take a specific job for a week and then mixing it up in hopes of keeping household progress fresh. (not seriously, folks. I was just thinking about it.) So many, many to-dos...
However, if this was a job with a real paycheck involved and I had a yearly review. I SHOULD BE FIRED. My performance as of late falls short of employment stability.

Ha ha. Talk about failing...I stayed in bed until 10:00 this morning!!! (I can't believe I just admitted that.)I blame it on the pregnancy.
I am going to tell you to take the same advice you gave me and that is slow down. Thank you so much for your well wishes. Though I am still sick, Life goes on as a mother. I want a huge paycheck for this week.
p.s I love your blog music it is everything i LISTENED TO IN HIGH SCHOOL.
Oh, and the girls were 3 when they started dance, they are almost nine now.
Kris, You have so much going on, you need to cut yourself some slack. Besides...you made a fort? My kids want you as a mom. I declared today a no tv day and then turned the tv on to entertain the kids so I could get 10 more minutes of sleep...and it's still on. I'm rotting my kids brains and raising them in filth. I should be fired too!
Umm, sign me up for a sister-wife! Actually I'd need more than one so someone could watch the kids while the girls and I go to lunch!!
I love to leave my house so the things I am avoiding aren't staring at me then I can pretend they aren't there at all and they don't really bug me-untl I can't stand it anymore and snap and turn into what my sister labeled affectionately 'psycho cleaning girl' (I think it's a PMS symptom)All you can do is all you can do so have a coke and a smile and know we out here in the blogospere love and appreciate your blog (and comments)
the nice thing is that they can't fire us. unless it's child protective services, and by then you are too far gone and should be fired. but we all do more clicking and typing than we should. it keeps us sane some days!
